A big stick! That’s right, just give ‘em a good whack and they’ll get off that furniture faster than you can say “Hak Yau Siu Yoke!”

Seriously, don’t tolerate that shit, you have to show them who’s boss.

Oh how I wish violence worked with my two cats. They have shredded my furniture’s corners down to the wooden frames in some cases. (Not leather furniture, regular upholstery) I’ve tried it all and the little beasts are so willful, they continue to do it. Arrggggggh. ~Monica

Animals like to be comfortable and close to their masters. Get them a comfortable dog bed and give them lots of treats to get them to understand that it’s their bed. When you’re gone, leave an old t-shirt that you don’t really use (but that is not washed) on their bed and that’s what they seem to want, your smell!
