Gorillapod
Say that word out loud and you’re bound to have at least one person ask you what the heck you’re talking about! But don’t let that discourage you because the Gorillapod is a very cool and useful gadget for the photographer in all of us.
I’m sure you’re familiar with the classic tripod, you know, three legs and a mount for your camera… well the Gorillapod is like that but taken to a whole new level. It’s a go anywhere, do anything, grab on to anything tripod for your camera, digital camera or camcorder and lets you take steady sharp photos no matter where you are.

I think the Gorilla Pod is terrific. I only wish I thought of it first. For those of us who travel and hike but love to haul the camera along this GP is just the ticket. My cousin just got one and used it on his trip to Scotland and said it was great. He even used it up side down. I’ll be adding it to my wish list.

Ahh, I’m not a bit photographer but this just looks cool. I have a friend who is always having trouble taking steady shots (not that she’ll admit it), so I’ll have to send her this link.
