You can count on the Japanese to come up with clever and innovative solutions to problems you never know you had… 
The Hanabi shade by Nendo is a perfect example. While most people thing think glass, plastic and paper based materials make the perfect light shade/surround, the creative people of Nendo have decided to try memory metal.
