Ergonomic Massage Tables

Ergonomic massage tables? Yes, ergonomic massage tables because not all massage tables are made ergonomically.

Ergonomics is defined as the process of designing systems and products for the needs of humans… simple right? Well you’d think it was. The fact is that most products are designed with manufacturing costs being the primary consideration. This is a shame because although we get away with paying less up front, the long term cost is much higher!

But Pete, why ERGONOMIC MASSAGE TABLES? (I hear you asking me)

Simple, people asked about them so I decided to write a little post. :)

Massage tables are not really ergonomic by default, although they are quite good enough for those of us lucky enough to be getting the massage, they can pose problems for the masseur. An ergonomic massage table allows the masseur to adjust the table to the height and position that will allow them to work more easily and efficiently.

Who cares? You might say, what does that have to do with modern living or my modern flat/home?

Well, for starters, massages are great! As a person who enjoys the finer things in life, you should seriously consider adding a massage into your “to-do” list. It feels great and you’ll thank me for the tip.

Secondly, how cool would it be to have an ergonomic massage table in your flat? I mean come on, a private massage table! Not only that but if you are a professional masseuse, ergonomic massage tables are the ultimate tool… and since it is a “tool of the trade” it could possibly be a tax write-off as well.

So there you go, if you’re a masseuse then ergonomic massage tables let you work more efficiently and with less stress (this means more massages and more money) and if you are the one on the receiving end, you’ll get a better massage!

Ergonomic massage tables are the way to go!
