Have you noticed how many people you see wearing the same clothes? I’m not complaining about Gap here (that would make me a hypocrite); but when chain stores sell the same stuff all over the place, you see it in more places. Makes sense.Well your walls need dressing too, you know. And if you’re getting your wall art from IKEA or Target, you’ll find something nice (I know you’ve got taste), but yours won’t be the only wall wearing it. If, on the other hand, you get wall art by Three Sheets 2 the Wind, you’ve got a guarantee that it’s one of a kind–they’re all handmade from 100% Irish linen, so every one’s slightly different. And they come in a wide range of sizes, from squares smaller than a sheet of notebook paper to 1200-square-inch rectangles. That means you can use one as a feature in the room, or to cover up the nail hole in the wall from where you used to hang your Klimt poster.

Rustic is the new black-leather-and-chrome! It’s true–the newest last word in modernism and best way to show that you’re on the cutting edge of design is with Balsa Wall Hangings, animal-printed pillows and T-shirts from Fauna. And by “animal-printed,”" we don’t mean zebra-striped and leopard-spotted; we mean actually displaying zebras and leopards, among many other animals, in sepia-flavored prints. Everything’s printed by hand, the Balsas are amazing, the T-shirts are soft, and the pillows are interestingly shaped.
Fauna:
bringing the outside in in a brand-new way.Art is printed on individual balsa squares attached to a flexible backing. Each hanging is signed and limited to 300 printings. Due to the nature of screen-printing, each piece will be original and have slight differences.Want to know more? View Cool Hunting’s profile of Salvor designer Ross Meneuz.”
