After my last post about the $2500 dresser I got to thinking… although it’s an amazing dresser, I don’t have that much to spend on just one unit of furniture and probably most of my readers won’t either. (I wish we did people, I really do!)

So… for that same $2500 I wanted to see if us regular people would be able to put together a decent modern living room complete with sofa, lounge chair and the other usual bits and pieces.

The answer is a resounding YES!

I’m a bit lazy so I decided to do it by choosing only units available from DWR and Ikea. This will ensure that anyone can get the same stuff for the same price! Let me know how I did by leaving some feedback… I understand that tastes vary so please feel free to make changes to my picks.
