The Livia chair was designed in 1937 by Gio Ponti and is produced by L’Abbate. Made from beech wood lacquered in eleven different colors (or stained) it really makes a statement.
The Livia chair’s clean, minimal lines make this chair look utterly modern even if it is 70 years old! Not a lot of furniture can pull that off. If you ask me, I still prefer solid wood to plastic or veneers any day and at about 200 Euros it’s not that expensive either. (I figure that’s about $250 USD but with the US dollar bouncing up and down lately, who knows for sure?)

WHAT TO DO NOW?
