Sitting here typing at my kitchen table I can’t help but feel that having a desk would be nice. :)

The problem is space (well it’s my problem) because I don’t have a spare room to use as an office. The solution is a multi purpose table, much like the Piu Desk. While there are many such table/desk pieces on the market, few are as simple and elegant as this.

Recipient of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2006, the Piu Desk can easily transform from a desk to a conference table to a dining table! It’s clean lines and world class design mean that it can easily fulfill each role with style and never look out of place.

Designed by Catharina Lorenz & Steffen Kaz the Piu desk/table can seat up to four people.

not bad if you get it on sale-the floor glides are plastic and have to be pounded in – they dont fit well. the mounts for the glass top are also plastic. the holes for leg assembly dont line up very well. not what you would expect for $1000 plus

That’s interesting to hear, anyone else have a comment on the Piu Desk?
