Multifunctional furniture
Well, to tell you the truth this piece is more of a classic bench/bedside table than really multifunctional furniture… but it’s more a matter of perspective than anything else.
First, an introduction, this is the Topanga Bench by David Brunicardi… isn’t it lovely?
Now, image this is YOUR bench… where would it go? What would you do with it? I can think of at least three places to put it in my apartment and a couple of uses as well. So maybe it is multifunctional after all.
The Topanga Bench is made of sustainable Douglas Fir laminates and lets you feel good about helping the environment while you admire your modern interior. Good combination.

This piece is great…like you say it looks like it can be used for anything! It could be a coffee table or a seat. To me it is more of a piece of art than a piece of furniture!

I think I would put it in the back mudroom as a shoe rack/bench. Shoes underneath.

This is a really great piece of furniture….good coffee table I would have thought? Or you could always turn it upside down and use it as a raft!

Oh it’s lovely. And you’re right, it can be multi-functional, not just a bench. I think it can also be a lovely looking coffee table or bedside table. I just love its shape and structure.
Good find. And good of you to share.
