Yesterday at work it occurred to me that my chair was an old piece of crap… Granted, this wasn’t my regular workstation which is only somewhat more ergonomic, but since I was working there I’ll call it mine. Now armed with this knowledge my mind began to wonder… If I could choose any chair, which one would I choose?

Well, despite the lure of the Aeron and other such ergonomic masterpieces, I’ve decided to keep it simple and classy… my choice is the Eames Management Chair.

Let’s face it, this is one of the most beautiful, elegant and tasteful office chairs ever. Ergonomics aside, I doubt that anyone would find sitting in one of these all day objectionable. What it lacks in the newest trends and adjustable lumbar supports, it gains in style… and that’s what it’s all about when you really think about it. ;)
