The best glass in the world?
A drinking glass is an object that is usually taken for granted. It’s something we use on a daily basis and never really think about until it’s time to clean it (or stick it into the dishwasher)…
That’s a real shame because there are a lot of interesting things that can be done to improve on the basic design.
A perfect example of this is the double walled glass by BODUM. As you can see in the picture (“borrowed” from their website) it separates the liquid inside from your hands, keeping cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot, longer, and saving you from having to feel the cold/heat.
They are understandably more expensive than your run-of-the-mill department store glassware, but not by much. The price is surprisingly within reach of most and considering the quality and uniqueness, quite possibly a great deal.
