Ficus Panda

ficus panda

The Ficus Panda a native of Japan where it is a highly revered plant. It’s leaves are round, green, fat and shiny. The Ficus Panda enjoys well lit rooms although it’s possible to keep it alive and thriving even in partial shadow.

The root structure is known to grow vigorously so you’ll be faced with more frequent re-planting into larger pots, but don’t worry, at most it’ll be once a year. This plant is also easy to shape and pruning is recommended in the summer months.

Many of the Ficus species are well known to plant lovers but this one in particular is getting more and more popular with us regular folk also… and fits very well into modern and contemporary interiors.

The Ficus Panda is a great choice for both commercial spaces and for private residences as it’s size, shape and colours can fit in just about anywhere. I like this one because it looks like a miniature tree, without having to be too miniature. It can still grow to a respectable height without outgrowing your living room.

that’s beautiful, very neat looking. I have always been one for planting unconventional plants in my house. I’ve got a couple of these lemon trees in my sunroom. Where can I buy one of those ficus?
