What a mess!
Look at all those shoes scattered around the foyer! Sound familiar? Well I know my wife and I have this problem… too many shoes. Actually, I shouldn’t say too many shoes (because I’d buy more if I had a few extra bucks) but instead, unorganized shoes!
We’ve tried stacking them in a small cabinet off to the side but this isn’t a satisfactory solution, not by a long shot. All we’ve managed to do is squish our shoes together and still have several pairs lined up one next to the other next to the door…
Thankfully Ikea has a reasonably priced solution to this problem, TRONES shoe storage, which can be had for a trivial $39.99! (pictured)
In fact, they have a few different styles of shoe storage solutions but I chose to feature this one because of the price and the simple sleek lines. Obviously you can chose the style and colour that fits best with your décor.
The TRONES holds six (6) pairs of shoes in the configuration shown. I think I’ll buy 2 and hope that storage for 12 pairs of shoes will be enough!

heh. 12 pairs of shoes. I have an entire chifferobe dedicated to shoe storage. And that was after I pared down my collection by donating at least 30-40 pairs to goodwill.

12 pairs is quite enough for me thanks… Don’t get me wrong, I like to have nice stuff and a big wardrobe, but it just gets so hard to organize it!
Our aptartment is only 56m2 (about 600 sq feet) and one room (my ex. home office/storage room) is now the baby’s room… so my wife and I are looking for some cheap and creative storage solutions.
Nice of you to donate to goodwill though. Lots of people just toss old stuff…
