Yes, another of my bad jokes… SAMLA is what Ikea call this storage box (pictured).

Looking around my own apartment I’m starting to get really fed up with all the clutter. Actually it’s been bothering me for a while. My wife and I decided to do a little work around the apartment and in the process have created a bit of a mess. Mostly boxes used to store all the things we needed to move out of the way.

The problem is that other stuff has “moved in” where all those little things used to be. Now we’ve got to empty all the drawers, boxes and everything else in order to re-organize! That’s alright though since I like keeping things clean and orderly.

That brings me to the storage boxes and the reason for posting in the first place… Ikea’s SAMLA storage boxes are perfect for storing just about anything. The best part is the price! They’re cheap – from $2 up to a whopping $15 for the largest size.

I’ll say it again, that’s CHEAP! Looking around the web I’ve seen similar products selling for $30 and more. Now I won’t say that Ikea has the best quality products, but their plastics are always ok and if you plan on keeping your stuff out of view, they’re perfect.
