Do you have plants in your home? If not, you should! Not only are they nice to look at and help create a nice atmosphere (literaly), they are also cheap! :)
If you do have plants, I’ll bet you often wonder when it’s time to water them… Have you ever had a plant die from not enough water? If so, you need Wormie! Wormie the Water Sensor, it could help save your plants and save you a few headaches in the process.
Many household plants die due to improper watering. Put a Wormie the Water Sensor in your plant’s pot and never under water again. This terra cotta instrument looks like a worm (more or less), as you might have guessed, and changes color based on the water level. If Wormie is dark, your water level is ok. If Wormie is light in color, the plant needs water.
I know you’ve probably already seen Wormie as he’s getting around to many popular gardening websites and forums, but I thought it would be worth a mention here as well. It’s around $3 and worth buying if you have any household plants or are in the mood to shop for something useful and cheap.
I just purchased a Wormie from my local Lowes store. Before you use it the instructions say to soak it in water for 20 minutes. I put mine in a cup of water and about 2 minutes later, I heard a pop and looking in the cup and Wormie broke!!! He cracked from the forehead all the way down two-thirds of the the body. I will try to use it anyway, but am very disappointed.
AMAZING wormie realy works my orchids have never been bloomier!
