Danish Modern Furniture
Danish modern, quite a nice style if I do say so myself. Recently I’ve been contemplating putting all of my furniture up for sale (which I probably will do), along with the apartment and move the family into a little nicer neighbourhood closer to town… and doing a complete re-decoration in the process.
The nice think about the Scandinavian style is that the pieces aren’t very large. This makes them perfect for not so big spaces. They’ve also got such a nice understated style and are so inviting and comfortable… not to mention that with a little effort you can dig up some fantastic deals from the classifieds.

mmmm…how very fun to sell everything and to start all over. I am currently obsessed with Kelly Wearstler. If only I had some cash. Eeek.

Well I don’t know how much fun it’s going to be but I’m ready to give it a try none the less.
To be honest, there are a few things I wouldn’t mind holding on to but I’m afraid they’ll be too impractical and the last thing I need is to start the whole mix-and-match decorating style… so it’s all for sale.

My taste runs a huge gamut of styles. But I just believe, if you love it, you can find a way to make it work. Pls don’t sell anything you love.

I agree with you whole heartedly… but it’s not so much a matter of getting an exact style, it’s more to do with the fact that I’ll be looking for a smaller (but better) space and my stuff isn’t functional enough to stay.
I took a look at Kelly Wearstler’s work, pretty slick stuff. The website features a few looks that could definitely fit with your Moroccan settings.

Just an update for those who are still popping in to read this post…
We managed to find the perfect apartment and everything was a go until the sellers wife got cold feet and the deal fell apart!
Oh well, that’s life.
(I hope we’ll have better luck next time)
