So you’ve got all the modern furniture you need at the moment, what next?

Well, have you put any though into creating that special ambiance you’ve always wanted? You should!

You’d be surprised at how easily you can do it… and how the little things make a huge difference. A perfect example of this is someone who trades in their classic CRT television for a LCD or PLASMA set… nice. But then that same person doesn’t put any thought into mounting it or wiring it up properly and leaves their TV (and cables) on the floor or on the OLD outdated media stand…

Hunting the ebay marketplace

Ordinarily I don’t look for used or refurb things to outfit my aptartment but I think it’s worth mentioning ebay as a viable source for cool and unique stuff.

While most people might think of ebay as a place to buy people’s old stuff (cheaply), it doesn’t have to be. Nowadays there are thousands of people who are using ebay as a marketplace to sell new stuff at near wholesale prices… that makes it worth a visit and therefore a mention.

Now since I don’t really check out ebay all that often, I can’t refer you to any particular sellers or ebay stores, but I do recall a few magazine articles showing amaizing furniture and electronics deals to be had. If you don’t believe me then just go do a search for a barcelona chair or some new electronics for your home theater… there are some great deals to be had.
