The hole house in Vals

This amazing house is the brain child of architects Christian Muller and Bjarne Mastenbroek. A great example of modern architecture set into the Swiss hillside
The idea for this house came about in 2004, the house was finished in 2009. It was worth the wait. The house, while essentially a hole in the hillside, is flooded [...]

Frank Gehry Wiggle Stool

One of my favorite pieces of furniture, the Wiggle Chair, also has a smaller stool to accompany it.
These pieces have to be the ultimate expression of creativity. If there was ever an example of creating something extraordinary from ordinary materials, this is it.
This Wiggle Stool gives attractive accent to any interior. Also it is available [...]

Not long ago I made a mention [...]

Wiggle it, just a little bit…

Photo by Frank O. Gehry & Associates.and borrowed from This Page
Remember the song? How about the chair?
Frank Gehry designed the Wiggle Chair as part of his “Easy Edges” series (1969 – 1973) and in doing so created one of the most striking pieces of furniture ever… out of ordinary corrugated cardboard!
The cardboard chair is really [...]
